Ginger Red Cabbage with Spring Onions
½ tsp Vegetable oil
½ knob ginger – finely chopped
200g (approx ¼) red cabbage – finely sliced
2 spring onions finely sliced
Sauce
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
2 Tbsp sherry
1 tsp hoisin sauce
Mix together and set aside
METHOD
• Heat oil in heavy bottom pan
• Add ginger, cabbage and the white part of spring onions
• Sauté for approx 2 minutes on low heat
• Mix through sauce and cook gently for another 2 – 3 minutes
• Stir through spring onion greens
• Add small amount of water if mixture is too dry
• Serve warm
